The team fxmshed second 1n class B at both the Paris and Urbana relays and fourth 1n the Okaw The Freshman Sophomore team won the Okaw Monncello and Lakevtew meets and were dropped to second because of a techmcahty at Rantoul. X1 Bement High School's diamond representa- tives, under the direction of Coach Waity, pro- duced a record of no wins and four losses for the season. Hurt by the loss of last year's ace pitch- er, Russ Fritz, through an injury, the in- experienced Bulldogs nevertheless worked hard and showed improvement during the season. Harold Ard's home run was the highlight of the opening 7-3 loss to Sullivan.
