INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT “Why go to school?” is a question asked by many students. Perhaps the most important reason is in order to train our minds for the tasks we will meet as citizens of a democratic country. Edmund Burke summed this up by saying, “Education is the cheap defense of nations.” On the following pages you will meet the various classes preparing such a defense.
