Foreword Willmott said: “Education is the apprenticeship of life.” In America, school is more than a place for teaching facts. It is a preparation for the social and professional duties of a citizen in a democracy. The foundation of such a government is the education of all its people. We hope to show in our Annual a year in B.T.H.S., a school conceived for making men and women. ★

This idea is expressed in our homes, our churches, and our representative democracy. America serves me; I serve America; and, through her, I serve the world.
