' u . - iii' L 6.1 The 1959-60 Redskin '99 E3ELZUNf Bl M pp Belgjom' Consolidated gjonzf, ' ' F orewom' Dances, dates, meetings, ballgames, traditions, and studies, all these things made up the wonderful and eventful year of l959- 60 at Belzoni High School. ln some ways it was a year iust like any other, but to each student and faculty member, it contained experiences and accomplishments that made this one stand out from all the rest. To the freshmen, this was a year for adiustment to their new school lite, but for everyone this was a year of adjustment to a new and beautiful school building. This adiustment was the main contribution to our school spirit. Time flies and our memories fade. Memories of the Star Spangled Banner being played before a football game, crowded corridors between classes, slow- pokes trying in vain to beat the inevitable tardy bell, debates during a class meeting, B. H. S. being sung in pep rallies, the long cafeteria line, and just loafing around on the campus. Memories of sad faces on report card Wednesdays, of the happy faces when the last bell rang on Friday afternoon. Most of all, the memories of our failures and our successes. lt has been the endeavor of the Redskin Staff to compile and digest these memories into one book which in future years will bring you back once more to Belzoni High School.
