Clciss Officers President ELINOR FREY Secretary EARLINE ZIECH Vice-President RAY GUNTER Treasurer HARRIET THATCHER l.. -.f Closs History When the Class of 1952 entered the halls of B. H. S., we gave the teachers quite a surprise. We were different from most freshmen, not bashful and bewildered, but right at home. We started our high school career with Ed Kelley as class president, Carl VanHorn vice-president, Earline Ziech secre- tary, and Albert Titman treasurer, later replaced by Alice Duckworth. In our sophomore year, we elected Harriet Thatcher presi- dent, Lloyd Hosterman vice-president, Barbara Bayley secre- tary, and Alice Duckworth treasurer. Our Football Sock Hop created a gigantic sensation. To further boost our funds, we sold pennants and hats. Sparkling class rings finally proved the fact that we were juniors. As our navigators, we chose Harriet.Thatcher presi- dent, Elinor Frey vice-president, Barbara Bayley secretary, and Betty Vannatta treasurer. Our advisers Mr. Reinbold, Mr. Emele, Miss Williams, and Mr. Duncanis looked on with approval. Among our accomplishments was the ingenious program, Welcome to B. H. S. Our football refreshment stand also proved successful. During one of our serious moments, we elected the Clarion editors. Then came our crowning glory of the junior year, the prom, a Cinderellak Ball come to life in beautiful color. Name cards, senior pictures, graduation announcements, Christmas cards, candy, all at once. It was finally the last year. To guide us through our last diflicult and rewarding moments we chose Elinor Frey president, Ray Gunter vice-president, Earline Ziech secretary, and Harriet Thatcher treasurer, Although snowed under with senior details, we found time to sponsor a Sadie Haufkim Dance. The plays, Our Hearty Wfere Young and Gay, and Choi! Wanted were big highlights for us because of our leading participation. Dashing back from D. C., we found time to attend our last prom before those strains of Pomp and Circumstance reached our ears. Then, walking down the aisle to graduation, we realized that B. H. S. was no longer our home. But we know that its thought will always remain at home in our hearts. ADVISERS Mr. R. Emele, Mr. M. Reinbold, Miss R. Williams, Mr. A. Ducanis
