The graduating class was fortunate for the weather was good and commencement took place on the football field Seniors leave the field after receiving their diplomas. SRS '74 was shouted as the class threw their mortar boards high into the air. The end of a long journey had come to an end and the joy was evident on the faces of each graduate.

HONORS MD. AND MIQQ BJ-LQ. Sena is a truly deserving Miss BHS. Sena is known by al- most everyone in school and liked by everyone who knows her, both students and faculty members. Sena came to Belton her Freshmen year. She was a member ofthe National Honor Society, serving as Secretary her senior year. She was a mem- ber ofthe volleyball team for three years, serving as Captain her senior year and being chosen most valuable player at the Killeen All-Tourney. Sena was Secretary of the Senior class, was elected Most Dependable her Sophomore year, Best All-Around and Homecoming Queen herjunior year and, finally, her senior year, Sena was not only chosen by the student body as Miss BHS, but was also chosen by the faculty as the Outstanding Student.
