However, many of the keys that we students find most valuable are not the ones that enable us to start our cars and open our houses. The more important keys, instead are the ones that open the doors to the areas that help us constitute a well-rounded school: Excellence. . .the key to personalities, Friendship. . .the key to classes, Inter- est . . . the key to organization, Participation. . , the key to literary events, Teamwork. . . the key to sports, Understand- ing . . . the key to administration, and Co-operation . . . the key to advertisers. It is with these keys that BHS students live and work daily. Members of the National Honor Society are those students who are outstanding in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Only a small percentage of each class is chosen by the teachers each year to be honored with membership in this select group. An impressive ceremony initiates new members each year at an assembly of the student body. Membership in the National Honor Society is the highest honor which can be awarded to those whose grades are above average. .. Y A W. DR.
