Q Q! ped into the home-room of Mr. Lightfritz. we thought E E' we were sitting on top of the world but wear soon taken 2 6 down by our upper classmen. We elected Mrs. McPherson Q 5 ss our class advisor and were soon in s merry whirl of Q Q studies and activities. This year marked the bginning Q Q1 of the Student Council to which we were permitted to E E5 send one representative. Several of the boys played mi Q E the junior high basketball team. The school year roll- Q3 i ed by quickly, and soon we were having a merry vacation Ei Q before entering our second gear of high school. Q Qi Unlike our Freshman year, there were two Sophomore j 'ei home-roomsg so our class had to separate,part going to 5 Q' Mrs. Drum's room and the rest to Mr. Elough's. At the 3 Eg beginning of the year,we elected Mr. Plough as advisor. 2 Es? Again we had one representative to the Student Council. 2 gi Many of the class were members of the glee club, and 5 gi three belonged to the band. Five girls were onthegirls 2 Q2 basketball squad while the same number of boys played g QQ, on the reserves. Three of the boys were on the track 2 Q5 team. Ke ended our second year with a class party held 3 gi in the high school. 2 Q Thus we started into our Junior and most exciting 2 Q year. Miss Snyder was chosen class advisor, and the 2 Qi first thing we did was to entertain ourselves with a Eg if weiner roast. The most important event in the fell was I Q Eg the arrival of our high school rings. This year our ea T2 if class elected two members to the Student Council. A Q ii large number belonged to the glee club while four were 2 .1 on the basketbrll squad, and five toys played on the Q nM reserves. Loth the girls' and toys' managers were from Q if our class, and five boys were on the tra ck team. The y? T 'hig3hlight of the year was the junior-senior banquet D held on Friday, May thirteenth. ' y And so we 'returned to school in the fall of nine- 'Z gil teen thirty eight, dignifiedf?D seniors. Miss Snyder Q if was unanimously elected advisor. We contributed five members to the bandgmany to the glee club, six girls to the S basketball teamg three boys to the boys' teamg and fivo bois to the track team.
