HISTORY A more naive group of Freshmen could never be found than those who tipltoed to their seats in 19344 Mr. Lightfritz kidded us through a too-sober semester as high school freshmen. Second semester found ui more spotlight-way in the American Legion Essay contest. Sophonores, and getting our ship under way, we contributed valuable material to band, orchestra, a n d glee club, capturing the lead i n the operetta. In this, our junior year,we play- ed our roles as well as possible: Through cooperation one with anoth- er and with the rest of the school I we hive worked and played this year our goal nearing, our school days slowly closing behind us. The junior class gave two assen- blies this year.
