if Y J Dedication We are conhdent that out of this bloody war a new America will take its place at the head of a new world orderg not one formed by Hitler, Hirohito, or their associates--our boys are seeing to that-but one in which love of God and universal brotherhood will reign. On the young men who are graduated from Beloit High School in these times, falls the double responsibility of serving the United States on the battlefield and later around the peace table. The boys who risk their lives and keep their dreams of the American way of life deserve our admiration and unshaken faith in their ability. Foreword Early this year at Dumbarton Oaks in our nation's capital, a proposed world peace organization was set up. The 1945 Beloiter is attempting to depict these relationships of the post-war World. The students are the world citizens. As members of the community, state and nation, they are ever concerned with the affairs of other peoples. They are advised and helped by the administration and faculty, corresponding to the World council. Work, education, and recreation, these have been accomplished under the social and economic council.
