MEMBERS OF THE Board of Education meet the first Monday of every month. Their time and energy is spent in the important ideas and decisions for the youth of the Beloit City Schools. Some of their main concerns are the school budget and appointment of new teachers. Each of them knows what its like to have children in the Beloit School System. And with this in their minds they make the best effort possible to better basic educational needs. These members deserve a pat on the back for their excellent service to the community. 8 School Board

Ed DeVore, Vocational Agriculture Diane Doyle, Special Ed. IV Aide Lee Elder, Art THE TEACHING STAFF of 1983 dedicated much of their time to helping the students learn new material. Mrs. Bean spent much of her time helping the special education students. Mr. Bice worked hard in organizing successful concerts. Mr. Caldwell taught World History and freshman English. He also sponsored the senior class of 1983 and coached junior high football. Mr. Campbell introduced computers to his math classes. Mr. Cousland and Mrs. Crawford showed superior dedication in their work with students. Mr. DeVore sponsored the Future Farmers Association Club. Miss Doyle helped the special education classes reach new goals. Mr. Elder sponsored Art and Photo Club and also made the Beloit Art Show successful. 10 Faculty
