I Santa, alias Bill Campbell, dropped by unexpectedly. 'This One's for You was the theme for the Christmas Prom annually hosted by the Seniors. The event was held on Saturday night, December 18, at the American Legion building. Guests were entertained by a really dynamite,, band Natural Gas from 9:00 to 12:00. After the first break, Senior Class President, Tim Campbell, welcomed everyone to the Prom, Ward Bryant sang the theme song, and refreshments were served. Mr. Harrison, Senior Class sponsor, remarked, It was the best Christmas Prom we've ever had. I think everyone really enjoyed the evening.

Singers Gain Experience Through Public Appearances Outfitted in red, white and blue, the BHS Singers raised their voices in song for many occasions during the school year. They performed at the first vocal concert on Oct. 26, the Christmas assembly District Contest, on March 15, the Spring Concert and State Contests on April 1 and 2. Appearances were made at the Lions club, the Ro- tary club. Elks BPOE Memorial Service, Jaycee Banquet, Farm Bureau Dinner, the Farmers Appreciation Banquet plus a variety of other music clubs and civic organizations. Members for Singers are chosen by tryouts and prac tices are held outside of school hours.
