The club sent four delegates and two observers to the Hi-Y Model Legislature at Topeka. Another annual event held by the club was the Father-Son Mixer, which featured Mr. Wolfgang Echterbeck, a farm exchange student from Germany, as the speaker. The club held a Mother-Son Valentine's Party on February 14 in the basement of the Christian Church. This is the first year that an event like this has been held by the club. llhri tian And Social Leader hip... The Beloit Hi-Y Club members entertained A their mothers at the Mother-Son Va1entine's Party on February 14, 1956, The members of the Beloit Hi-Y Club were treated to a watermelon feed after the first meeting of the year on September 15, 1955.

THE BELOIT HI-Y CLUB CABINET MEMBERS ARE: Jerry Boettcher, Jack Spratlen, Earl Hackett, Ron McCune, Ron Mastin, Jim Lynch, John Boyd, Dale Adell, Roger Giddings, Ed Shamburg, Don Stephens, Dan Wesselowski, Darry Melton. Are lli-Y Goal . Darry Melton, Dan Wesselowski, John Boyd, Don Tolbert, Larry McClintock and Ernest Melton gained valuable knowledge when they attended the Hi-Y Model Legislature in Topeka on December 2 and 3, 1955. The Beloit Hi-Y Club sent two bills to it to be debated upon. The annual Hi-Y Father-Son Mixer was held on November '21, 1955, It was carried on in the manner of a regular meeting.
