The mixed ensemble and choir are selected groups of 15 and 30 respectively who are chosen from the mixed chorus to provide many of the different or an- izations and special ensembles wi talented entertainment. The ensemble honored Beloit this year by making a I rating at the district festival in Concordia an a II at the state festival at Hays.

They have made appearances at Rotary Club, Lions Club, lodges, church orlganizations, senior and junior play, El s Club, and the annual S ring Concert. All of these groups, witlpi the exception of the sophomore trio, received I ratin s at the District Festival and were eligibfe to enter the State Contest where they were rated as follows: Double Sextet I, and the Freshman Sextet and Senior Trio II's. SOPHOMORB TRIO: Martha File Cathy Barber, and Kay Reiter. FRESHMAN SEXTET: Wonda Watson, Billie Lou Campbell, Joan Beardmore, Rosemary Wineinger, Julianne Pruitt, and Judy Kent.
