The first occurring on March Z6, was an indoor meet at K-State at which Beloit received ten points. Then on April 7, Beloit was host to the Beloit Invitation- al track meet in which Beloit took first place with 91 lf2 points. Next came a triangular meet held at Beloit with the Trojans taking first place with 145 112 points. Downs and Minneapolis also participated in this meet. Several of the Trojans of Coach Harrison then traveled to the K-U Relays with Beloit receiving two points. . Then came the Beloit Relays, one of the big est meets in central Kansas. Clay Center won the class A titqe and Haven class B with Beloit taking forth. The NCKL meet was held on May 6 at the Beloit field with Concordia taking first, Beloit taking second and Marysville third. Finally at the regional at Hays, the Trojans captured forth place qualifing several men for the state meet. . .
