Five boys represented BHS at Model Legislature in Topeka this year, they were: Max Miller, Jim Grecian, Vaughn Shamburg, George Stephens and Larry Hewitt. Max Miller was chosen Justice of the Supreme Court during the session. ' 9 'ri 1' ii . 5. S V if--1 L.. HM GRECIAN Secretary GEORGE STEPHENS Treasurer The Watermelon feed held in September of this year is an annual occurence and its purpose is to let the freshmen get acquainted with the other Hi-Y members. The Hi-Y held a Dad-Son Mixer on November 18 and had -for its speaker Mr. Sid Smith of McPherson. This year the club played host to over 120 boys who came to attend the yearly Sectional Conference. Through mutual co-operation in the aforementioned projects and participation in religious activities of the club, the Y-Teen girls have come closer to the c1ub's goal of each girl growing as a person, in friendship with people of all races, religions, and nationalities, and in growing in the knowledge and love of God.
