The Y-Teens, under the leadership of Dee Daniels, enjoyed a very successful year. With 100 members, the club was divided into the following committees which performed various duties: pro- gram, worship, music, service, and world fellowship, membership, finance, publicity, social, special, and conference. Each committee had a chairman and sub-chairman. These girls and the officers made up the Y-Teen Cabinet. Main events of the c1ub's year were: the Big-Little Sister picnic, the Mother-Daughter Banquet with the theme of Gay Nineties, the Dad-Daughter Roundup, joint meetings with the YWCA, Junior High Y-Teens, and Hi-Y clubs, and the annual Heart Sister party. Projects of the Y-Teen Club were: sending a scarf of friendship to Korea, money-making pro- jects such as working at the tournament concession stand and serving at a farmers convention, and Christmas projects of various committees. Through mutual co-operation in the aforementioned projects and participation in religious activities of the club, the Y-Teen girls have come closer to the c1ub's goal of each girl growing as a person, in friendship with people of all races, religions, and nationalities, and in growing in the knowledge and love of God.
