We started at Field School We started at Rodgers School. Sl Ill!! HISHIRY The senior class of 1953 originally started out with an enrollment of 65, and graduated, a class of 57 members. Memories of happy hours together include the freshman Halloween party, collecting clothes for the economy shop, picnics, skating parties and the class plays. The Little Dog Laughed , the junior play, and Spring Fever, the senior play, were not only well received by the community but also served to unite the class in a friendly atmosphere. The Class and their guests took trips into Fairyland and Blue Hawaii for the junior-senior banquet and the senior junior reception, respectively. Class officers in previous years were: Freshman-president, Franklin Masting vice- president, Arden Treasterg Secretary-treasurer, Margie Roquet. Sophomore-president, Russel Bradleyg vice- president, Keith Shamburgg secretary, Laura Bowersg treasurer, Robert Shurtz. Junior--president, Nadine Black, vice-president, Bob Jonesg secretary, Kathleen Studerg treasurer, Pat Fobes. A Women's Residence Hall Scholarship at Kansas University and the Beloit Panhellenic Scholarship were won by Jane Dunham. Arden Treaster won the Carl Ray- mond Gray Scholarship. We came from other schools.
