Eighth Grade Activities Many l.,l Helen Young With one year of experience to guide them, the 55 members of the eighth grade led out the junior high school activities. The 23 boys participated in a well rounded-out sports program which included football. basketball, track and tennis. junior paper, The Junior Junior They joined forces with the girls in conducting the high senate, their governing body, and their school the Jr. Hi-Lights. 32 girls have been busy with their activities in the high Y-Teens and the boys have taken part in the high Hi-Y programs. 1. Seventh Grade l'las Active Year On September 3, 1951, 49 nervous, but happy students reported to seventh grade classes. The seventh grade girls joined junior high Y-Teens and some girls held offices in the club. The club had several projects during the year such as selling magazines and assisting in collecting candy bars for people of Europe.
