SIENIIOIRS UIFIFNCIERS The Senior Class of l9-ll elected Ralph Dockstader. as President. Ralph was active in Hi-Y and band all four years: debated three years: played football. tennis. and track for three years and basketball in his Senior year. He took a leading part in the Junior play, You Cant Take It XYith You. .Xs Senior President he endued the office of responsibility with dignity and helped to promote all the efforts of the Seniors. liurolling as a junior, Richard Conroy moved here from Lebanon where he was active in FF.-X, chorus, and band. He served as Senior Vice President and entered into the activities of band in his last two years: worked on the .-Xnnual Staff: and was in the junior play You Can't Take It NVith You. History repeated itself for Roy lrwin jordan. The class elected him Secretary-Treasurer in their Sophomore year and again in their Senior year. Roy was participated in band, Hi-Y, and orchestra for four years: debate and chorus for three yearsg tennis fourth year: XVoodwind trio and XVoodwind quintet. Ile was also Grandpa in the Junior play You Can't Take lt 'vVith You. For four years, seventy-one Seniors have continued the pioneering spirit of 1540--to give and take. This is the kindergarten teacher, Miss Shearer's first class to graduate from High School. The Seniors have gained much from their school, and the City of Troy has gained from the efforts 'of the Seniors who have given their abilities in athletics, music and plays. Sponsors who aided the Seniors efforts were Miss Tinkler, who had charge of finances: Mr. Hinkhouse, the Sneak: Miss Kirtland. the play and yearbook: and Mr. Muck. The class of l04l. pioneers all, are now ready to blaze forth on their own trails. EM With the theme of Patriotism prevailing at the Junior-Senior reception, 'held Jan- uary 1, the juniors joyously viewed the beginning of their social activities, and the seniors regretfully saw the ending of their four successful years in BHS. The above scene shows Irene Pierce, Mary Lee Spatz, Dorothy Johnson, Charlotte Harris, Char- lotte Hunt, Dorothy Pierce, Louise Will- iams, Margaret Caselman, Clara 'Gratep Doris Gaston, and Winona Wray ln their formal attire.
