By their ability to work successfully as a class, the Athenians have succeeded in attaining most of the goals they have set. The Athenian Cabinet was responsible for the planning and sponsoring of all the Athenian events and activities: Sweater Day, Sucker Day, Field Day, Senior Prom, Class Day, and the Senior Breakfast. THE ATHENIANS RELIVED THEIR CHILDHOOD on Senior Sucker Day, as dressed in juvenile finery they had an all-out time. The next event on 4he Senior Calendar was Field Day: the Athenians made a brave showing in the traditional activities of Egg-throwing, Balloon- busting, Basketball, Girls ' Football, and The Relay. One of the final events, an event long to be remembered for its fun and glamor, was the Senior Prom. THE ATHENIAN CLASS OF ' 61 now bids farewell to the school which it has served with devotion for three glorious years, and wishes Belmont continued success in the production of fine scholars and fine citizens. The demo- cratic governing body of these students is the ISO, International Student Organization, which is made up of two members from each FA English class and of any other willing participants. This interesting organization has made a great contribution to Belmont, and has sponsored many worthwhile activities this year, the quality of which is proven by the fact that the ISO Bel-hop last semester was the most successful one of the year.
