To the Class of 1983, “Perhaps some day it will be pleasant to remember these things.” (Virgil) I do not need to remind you how much we have all matured during our four years at the high school or how we have come together as a class. Without abandoning old friends and interests, we have made new friends and learned to appreciate our diverse abilities. As we entered our senior year, our enthusiasm for building a class spirit set the pace for the successes we had all year. I also do not need to say that our class will be remembered. Being ourselves and giving our best together, we have left our mark on Belmont High. Our achievements will be preserved as later classes build upon the examples we have set. Finally, I do not need to say that our class will live on in our remembrance of each other. Thanks for the memories. James Hicks President Class of 1983 QUOTE: “You will hardly know who I am or what I mean, But I shall be good health to you nevertheless ...” — Walt Whitman MEMORIES: Some very special people JH, SB, SF, PD, TK — Old friends: EM “Now what did you do?” RD, KA, King Tut, “Smile, Mud”.
