Miss Theresa M. Smith Home Economics; Mathematics Good cooking is an art, and students in the Foods Class are cultivating it through experience. A relaxed atmosphere is created, and it is comparable to a good home situation. After learning basic techniques, these skills will be applied to serving meals to outside groups and teachers. Several awards and prizes are available to the students: the Betty Crocker Homemaker of the Year Award, the Annual Crisco Award, and awards for the best cook in BHS and the outstanding home economics student.
