I • TT-wyiT » ♦ ■ I In the Machine and Metal Fabrication Shops a workman is judged by the way he selects and uses the tools of his trade. For this reason it is important that a student know how to select and use properly both the hand and machine tools that are commonly used in the trade. This is the first step on the road toward becoming a successful tradesman. A finished job may be a masterpiece of fine work- manship, but it is extremely important to know about the materials— their grade, size and characteristics and where they are used. Crutchfield Physical Education; Basketball; Football; Sr. Class Advisor. Physical fitness is an integral part of everyone’s high school education. What is acquired now in the way of developing a sound body will be of great benefit in later life. For boys the most popular activities are football, basketball, and soccer. Track, gymnastics, and weight lifting are also important. In the girls side of the gym is heard, “One two, touch those toes. Two two, straigliten those knees.” They skip around the gym five times, work on the parallel bars, or execute “perfect” lay-up shots. Physical Education classes are valuable additions to the higli school careers of all students. Physical Education Cindy and Marsha get ready to play field hockey. Bobby Locke shows his strength.
