Septembe Calendar r Well everyone was seen back at school wxth a hem sm1l1ng faces and the Senlors trxed to fxnd out how green the Freshmen really were Everyone got organlzed and the Semors looked the Freshmen over and the Freshmen stared the Semors over The band went to St Cla1rsv1lle for a mus1cal program Empty seats 1n all the classes lt seems every kxd had the same excuse they took thexr horse to the falr Back on Monday mormng the fa1r over now and all the Freshmen not as fearful as they were Everyone ready to start the school year off wzth a bang Who set that cap off? Bob Orrlson lost h1s balance and was seen runmng around trylng to f1nd The Senlors found out Mr Baurnan was to dlrect the1r class play and everyone was happy We saw some of the Freshman Home Econom1c g1r1s were all wrapped up 1n thelr cooklng Say girls you are supposed to let that taffy cool before try1ng to pull It The Senlors got thelr play books and everyone was anx1ous to start practlclng F1rst pract1ce was scheduled Monday Everyone was busy readxng the1r parts to get ready for thexr flrst Mxss Groves 15 taklng up a new hobby She 15 collectlng rubber band shooters caps tacks and var1ous other artmcles Mr Bauman seen 1n the halls guess he couldn t get some of those Sen1or glrls to study hall Well play practlce was well under way and Mr Bauman has begun suffer :nt It out wlth all of us We wonder why hxs Wlfe couldn t keep h1m 1n handkerch1efs We finally came to the conclusxon that lt was because was forever w1p1ng away on h1S forehead We observed COnSt1tUt1Oh Day and Mr Roy Lew1s spoke to us mn a short assembly The gn-ls seen out on the playground s11d1ng down the shdmg board and on the merry go round when they should have been playmg softball Off1cers elected for the paper staff and Frances Masters was chosen ed1tor Two other boys were appomted to offxce but they couldn t behave and were put out Naughty Naughty We began typlng the stencll for the paper The maxn phrase was who has the eradlcatlng fluld? ? ? 36 5- , . . . 4 - D .
