■ FOREWORD In presenting this issue of The Spire, we have endeavored to s e t forth the joys we have shared, the achievements we have won, and the difficulties we have encountered and overcome. As we review these events, we realize more deeply the significance and value of a Catholic education as a preparation for life in time and in eternity.
