Perhaps he ' s a good golfer because of his quiet, reserved, and steady manner. His daily journey from Mt. Always jovial, always hardworking, next year he leaves the Abbey for the first time in six years to head for The Citadel, aspiring to be a C.P.A. Martin Gass, Vice-President Charlotte. N. C. MARTY Thu rapt soul sitting in thine eyes. From the gridiron up to the choir loft you ' ll hear from this young man. The day students call bim Mr. Prez but we all think of him as the typical Abbcyman. Hopes to jaunt to Notre Dame next fall. Gabriel Joseph. Secretary Columbia, S. C. Gabe The cherub contemplation. Another person you ' d like to meet : so pedantically malapropian that he ' s never at a loss for words. One of those few persons who sees beauty in retrospect. The lad with the perpetual smile who came 11,000 miles to study law with an eye on the future governorship of Guam. A well- mannered, congenial, interesting product of his island home.
