SEASON OF ' 58 Belmond's '58 football season proved to be a very unsuccessful one. With only four lettermen returning from last year, the Broncos won their first game with Garner by a score of 2C-6, They lost their next five con- ference games to end up in sixth place. Of the remaining three non-conference games they tied two and lost the sea- son's final against their arch rival, Clarion, 39-7. Thus the Broncos fin- ished the season with a l-6-2 record, the worst in many seasons. This year Lynn Jenison made sec- ond team WAl1-Conferenee.n John Mur- ray, Bruce Leinbach, and Alan Fuller made honorable mention. The outlook for next year's Bron- cos should be much brighter.
