Wig-4 Orion Club-4 Senior Play-4 DAVIS, VIRGINIA STEELE, JOHN F.F.A.-2, 3, 4 For the last four years, all our efforts have been directed toward the completion of our high school course. We have worked toward graduation with all our ability, and yet, as the time of graduation approaches we cannot help but feel regretful that a large part. of the companionship we have left for the last four years must end. We will always remember the experiences we had in high school, on the athletic field, and in the class room and will treasure them all our lives. We wish to express our appreciation to the teachers who have guided and advised us, to the best of their ability during our high school years. Our rela- tionship with them may not have always been what they might have been, for it is not possible for people to associate so closely for years without dispute, but, as the time for ending these relationships draws near, we feel that what our teachers did for us was what they thought best for our welfare. We must now pass on to the underclassmen the safe keeping and perpetuation of the tradi- tions and honor of Bellwood-Antis High School and we admonish them to keep them ever clean and broken. The setting for the Prom was a summer flower garden above which large silver stars shown in abundance in the clear night. Bright and colorful flowers bloomed everywhere, green vines trailed down from the awnings, there were soft gliders in cool shady nooks, the wishing well was granting wishes, and music floated in from the background. The bright gowns of the girls made the garden seem very festive. As Seniors, we still remember our Junior Prom with pride. This year our activities have been successful. They are as follows, bake sales, soup sale, doughnut sale, a football dance, a Valentine's Day dance, Senior Supper, and Senior Play. We have fought a good fight and have reached our goal and now we leave to the Juniors our wishes for success. 1942 Tuckahoe Twenty-one We, the Senior Class of B. A. H. The early part of the season came with a series of set backs in spite of winning the first game 2'l to O over Bigler but we lost the next four. But the end of the season saw Bellwood coming back strong. Coach Killen had found no difficulty in filling the vacant spots of those grad- uated in the previous year. Among the returning players he found that there were nineteen veterans: Clark, Rowan, Halbritter, Garman, Shaffer, Walters, Wolfkill, Lender, Johnson, Caber, Taylor, Henry, Wesley, Howe, J. Gardner, Lee, F. Moffitt, and Hatfield. The highlight game of the season was when Tyrone beat the Blue Devils after a hard fought battle in which the B-A scored forthe first time on the orange- men. Another highlight game was when the Blue Devils beat their old rival, Roaring Springs, in the last five minutes on a muddy field. And B-A won the Championship by defeating the undefeated Claysburgh team by a 'I9 to 0 score. The coming football team will keenly miss the boys who graduate, but we are sure that next year's team will carry on and bring another Championship to our school. FOOTBALL SCHEDULE Sept. Roaring Spring, our most worthy opponent, won the meet by l lonei point, thus giving Bellwood-Antis second place. Some of the outstanding athletes this season were: Garman in weights, .l.
