F.H.A.!HERO is a world of opportunity! It pro- vides opportunities for self-development, prepara- tion for family and community living, and for em- ployment. It encourages individual and group in- volvement in helping achieve worldwide brother- hood and very importantly, it provides opportuni- ties for decision making and for assuming responsi- bility. The year of 1987-88 has been a great year to Join the Club! We have accomplished these things and much more. This year is the first time in a long while we have had a Regional Officer, and she has experienced many exciting extravaganzas during her term. Ask her about it sometime! The local F.H.A. officers have had a blast celebrating the teacher's birth- days, watching all of the kids faces light up at MHMR when Santa Claus delivered Christmas pre- sents, and getting to those dreaded meetings in all the hustle and bustle. lt hasn't been all fun, a little bit of hard work is thrown in to make it all worth- while. The F.H.A. members have done their share, too! The officers appreciate everything they have done to make this year a success, like selling all of that Tom Watt, getting the care package together for the Mental Health Center and a needy family, and don't forget the State Fair! Without Mrs. Kremer, our great F.H.A advisor, it wouldn't have all been possible. The 1987-88 officers are: Tausha Bellah-Vlce-President of Projects Rachelle Garner-Freshman Representative, Denlse LarkIns-Vice-Presl- dent of Recreation: Sandi Winchester-Treasurerg Teresa Neal-Reporter Misty Lazenby-Vice-President of Star Events: Melanle Jones-Parllamen tarlang Cheri Page-Vice-President of Achievement, Llsa Wagner-Presi dentg Paula Lewis-Secretary.
