Tina Smlth, Michelle Lazenby, Llsa Wagner, Greg Sanford, Jennifer Bateman, Melanie Jones, and Regina Thomas were the senior honor students. 52? -sz, 4 wi' 3 f . .3 'L 1233 .Q Freshman honor students are left to right Chris Brown, Cissy Robertson, Jennifer Clark, Shari Pointer, Larlssa Bellah, Jason Taylor, and Christina Jackson. 1- V, A Paula Lewls, Teresa Neal, and Brian Blackmon were the 1987-88 sophomore honor students. Junior Roy Thomas made the semester honor roll. The semester honor roll is made up of people who have worked hard and conducted themselves in a man- nerly way in the classroom. These people have kept a 90 or above aver- age every six-weeks. Some of the higher achievers made the superin- tendent's honor roll. They made 90 or above in every class. There were eighteen students who fulfilled the requirements for making it to the se- mester honor roll list. We are very proud of each one and support them in their continued efforts. Along with this standing comes a lot of honor, responsibility, and a chance to at- tend some very special activities and become members of academic clubs. Having a 90 or above average allows a Bells High School student the privi- lege of becoming a Beta member. This year these students were invited to attend an A team breakfast held at Holiday lnn. They were given speeches by Mr. Rowell, Mr. Coulter, and Mrs. Lewis. These honors make all of the long study sessions and tired eyes worth the effort. Academics 73
