In the tomb-like quietness of Bells High School hallways, an alarm- ing ringing sound disturbs everything that lives. Soon the halls be- come alive with movement and chatter. Each living creature seems to have one stopping place .... THE LOCKER. This place allows each student to get materials for the coming class, to catch up on the latest news, or to get rid of some frustration by slamming or hitting something because of that failing test grade. Whatever the reason, lockers are always a part of our everyday life at school. Our personalities are reflected in the lockers fdreams, securities, and futuresj. Dreams about that special person of whom we have a picture some- times occur, other times, security is needed, just to get through the long school day. These are the days when it is a relief to have a mirror hanging on our locker. We are sure to check to see if every last hair is in it's perfect place, or if a wart has grown on our nose since last hour. What about the adventurous side of us? lt's present too! At times, the adventure is just being able to open the locker door. Other adven- turous signs of our future are represented sometimes by just having a picture representing a profession that we would like to pursue. ln years past, lockers contained posters, mirrors, and sometimes trays to hold our junk. Some students even went as far as to leave notes to one another in between classes. Cookies and chips were always a favorite as long as we didn't get caught. Once in a while we would overcome fear and bring a soft drink. But, of course, THAT WAS THEN, THIS IS NOW. Now the lockers lack mirrors, and posters are few. We are even too busy to leave the notes anymore. We would not dare be caught with food much less a softdrink, for the fear of the wrath of Mr. Coulter. Despite all of this, we found some interesting lockers. Can you pick out which locker belongs to whom? You can if you know their locker personahtyl 000252 000224 000284 Scene A Scene B Scene C Scene D - S- r S S ljslj ss .,,, s s Q, s s ssss ....... f . -.- f ....- -,.,.., N .
