This year we tried something new for Halloween. All students and teachers were encouraged to dress up as their favorite charac- ter or even as something scary. Sandi Winchester organized this day of activities and even made up a list of rules to be followed. There was a contest for the best dressed. Steve Ross won best dressed boy, and Tammy Hall won best dressed girl. Bula Gar- ner won best dressed faculty member. Favorite songs were played in the commons at break and lunch to add to the fun. l've heard of doing a lot of the things to keep girls from calling and asking you out, but this is ridiculous! Mark Garner has trouble decldlng wheth- er he should use the girls' or the boys' restroom. Either way he will probably give someone quite a scare. Bula Garner would rather have a new vacuum cleaner, but proudly accepted her broom for best dressed faculty mem- ber. 18 Student Life 77577 Robin Metcalf and Jennifer Bateman show everyone their primitive sides on Halloween.
