.faq .Z 'X 7 Every year students at Bells High School look forward to the advent of Loy Lake Stock Show with great anticapation and much excitement. This year Erin Youree won Top Honors with her lamb. Jason Waldrip received Grand Champion Market Hog. Misty Lazenby won Grand Cham- pion in Senior Clothing and Sen- ior Crafts. Brenda Knox won Re- serve Champion in Junior Crafts. Much hard work and preparation is put into this event all year around. It takes a lot of dedica- tion to be good at showing ani- mals, and every student in 4-H or FFA does his best at being good at what he or she does. 333 3333 8 Student Life W V ' .,,. , 'V , ,W , .,,, V , I ,sk Tlna Smith waited patiently wlth her steer Rowdy for her turn to show. As all people know a student's life can be extremely complicated. First, they must come to school and wade through seven classes a day. This almost always seems to leave a big pile of homework that must be done. In addition, most students also have other school activities in which they participate that require after school practices. On top of that, there are some students who have after school jobs. By the time a student completes his family chores and goes to church, he is totally frazzled. How in the world does a student stay alive these days? To get through seven classes a day many daydream, sleep, or actually pay attention. They work frantically to get five worksheets filled out so that they will not be waiting after basketball practice. Many students think about the weekend and all the wonderful plans which have been made. They pass a little note to their friend to see if their plans match or to see if they have any candy or gum. When all else fails, students ask for a pass so that they can change the scenery lvisit the restrooml. Every student has hisfher way of coping, but somehow they all survive. For most students the day is just beginning when the final bell rings. They rush off to basketball or football practice or to a meeting for a club to which they belong. A great number head off to work to earn that wonderful minimum wage that helps to meet all the monstrous expenses in a student's life. Of course, after they've run that last sprint or checked out that last customer, they realize it is their turn to do the dishes. By the time the dishes are done, the night is still young, it's only nine o'clock. Then they walk into their room and see that mountain of books staring them in the face. So they reluctantly begin to get into the grind of studying, answering questions, and writing papers. Finally, the day is over and the work is done. They look around and suddenly realize they forgot a work sheet left in their locker. They decide not to worry about it to much because they are too tired to do it even if it were at home. They send up a quick thank-you to God for getting them through another day and drift off to sleep. This is the life of a student.
