This year 8 new in- itiates were welcomed into the club. Laura Nanney presents a check to a spokesperson for the Underprivileg- ed Children. The Betas raised money for this organization by selling Christmas greetings. Elementary grades were entertained and treated to an Easter egg hunt by the Betas at Easter. On Valentines’ Day the Betas sang telegrams sent by the students and teachers to their sweethearts. The money raised went to the Heart Fund.
