i 111 mu MS Jiisss®: I Foreword The 1970 Eagle Staff has been occupied thisyear observing Bells City School. We have seen many things which we thought worthy to be recorded in youryearbook - thebookof remembering. Wehave seen administration and teachers who felt that it is important to gain knowledge - knowledge of the past, the present and the future. We have seen young people who are seriously seeking to know and to decide what they want to do with their lives. We have seen basketball games which made us very happy, and sometimes, ones which made us sad. Always we have seen teams of which we were very proud. We have seen organizations and activities to which groups devoted time, energy, and talent for acommongoal. We haveseen you, the peoplewho come here, in all your various moods and activities. Let us, through the pages which follow, introduce you to Bells School 69-70. 2 Table of Contents Title Page -- - --1 Foreword --- - —------2 Staff -- - -4 Student Life -- - ........ 5 Dedication----------------------------------- 15 Administration -------- - 16 Sr. High and Jr. High Faculty - - ---- - - 18 Non-Teaching Personnel- — - -- -- -- -- 20 Classes -- - 21 Seniors -- - — ... 22 Underclassmen - -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- 32 Organizations and Activities — - - — ---------43 Favorites - - - - — - - - - -------- - - - - 57 Honors --- ------------------------------- 64 Sports -- - ...... ---67 Elementary Faculty - ------------------ ---76 Elementary Classes----------------------- ---78 Kindergarten------------------- - -------- 91 Nursery--------------------------------- 92 Junior Royalty - ----------------------- 93 Advertisements - - - -------------------..----94 3 Eagle Staff At the main entrance to Bells High School, the EAGLE Staff '70 extends a welcoming hand to you to enter the open door and follow the staff members on a guided tour through our school. May you find that through the efforts of your high school you have been helped in some small measure to become well-adjusted American adults. To you who have not yet finished your high school education, may our future relationship be both pleasant and profitable. I hope that our efforts together will be blessed with success. It is also my wish that together we may join in the search for knowledge and maturity that is the purpose of our school. May you look back through the pages of this book and remem- ber many fine and wonderful experiences that have been both yours and mine.
