For the first time the play was presented two nights with two separate casts. The Senior Class of 1967 again sets a precedent. e n 1967 GRADUATES That Was The Week That Was It all began in a small town with a fight- ing basketball team. During the regular season the Bells Eagles were only once defeated. Entering the County Tournament Bells easily captured the trophy. Coach Emerson and Mr. Naylor seem to have their hands full, little knowing what lies ahead. The boys then pushed on to the Dis- trict Tournament where they proved that the Eagle spirit had not slacked; and they came away with another beautiful trophy. L F-9J Losing by only a few points, Bells failed to capture the Regional trophy, but our boys had certainly had a great taste of glory. So—after a long hard year, the boys arrived at the dreamed-of destination, a position laughed at when the first ballgames were played. The citizens of Bells proved to the team that they were very proud. And finally.. .the night that rocked the city of Bells to its foundations. Bells Golden Eagles defeated a team which was sure of itself.. .MILAN! In the semi-finals Bells eliminated the only team standing between them and the State Tournament. Our boys were going to State, and there was little sleep that night.
