Mrs. Morris is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a B. 5. degree in Business Administration. She is married and has two children ta boy and a girli. She enjoys basketball and reading. Columbia College graduate and a teacher of a few years, MRS. EVELYN l'L PETERS has taught English and World Histnry this year. She holds an A. B. degree in English and has done graduate work at the University of South Carolina and Winthrop. She has'threc daughters-two are graduates ofBelis Hcr hobbies are music, flowers, and Perry Mason. 3116: collects old books. During 196465'she has sponsored the Beta Club. Mrs. Peters participates in church activities- She is a Tiger fan. MR. W. GERALD POLK of Hampton, S. C. has been leading 0111' Beils-Walterboro Band this year. Mr. Polk is a graduate of Ncwberry College with a R. 5. degree in music. He is married and has two children. He and Mrs. Polk are presently living in Walterboro. Coming to Bells this year for the first time was MR. J. SANFORD HI'i'CHlE. He is El graduate of the University of Georgia with an A. 3. degree and of the University of South Carolina with a M. Ed. This year he has. helped sponsor the Seninr Class. His hobby is fishing. Mr. and Mrs. Ritchie have made their home in Walterboro. They have two children - a son who is 3 Lieutenant in the Coast Guard and a daughter whois a Junior at the University of South Carolina. MRS. MARY LOU RITCHIE has taught this year at Bells. She is a graduate of Newberry College and has done graduate work at the University of South Carolina. Mrs. Ritchie has taught math in the junior high school. MRS. LOUISE C. HHOAD has directed the Glee Club this year and taught piano. She is a graduate of Georgia. Woman's College, Milledgeville, Georgia. She has two daughters - Louise and Carol. She makes her home in Bamberg, S. C. Her hobbies are playing the organ and piano plus listening to music hi all kinds. She sponsored the Music Club at Bells this year. Willing to helfv in any possible way, MRS. DOROTHY G. R0 BEETS has he pad in many areas of school life. This year she sponsored the Yearbook, Pep Club, and Cheerleaders, while teaching Chemistry and, acting as Guidance Director, She is a graduate of lWinthrop College with a B. 5. degree. She has done extra work in the field of guidance. She and Mr. Roberts have one son, Art. Her hobbies include flowers, ard'ening, and golf. The Roberts make their home in Waiter- oro, S. C. Holding two degrees from Clemson University MR. ANDREW L. SMOAK teaches ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade boys Vocational Agriculture. He is a sponsor of the FFA. Mr. Smoak enjoys football, basketball, reading and working with animals. Mr. Smoak gives much of his time to many worthwhile projects inciuding work in his Church. His home i's at Smoaks, S. C. MRS. MARY C. SUMMERS teaches the Home Economics course at Bells. She gaduated from Lander College at Green- wood and has done graduate work at Winthrop and the Uni- versity of South Carolina. She sponsors the FHA and 196465 was co-sponsor oi the Junior Class. Her hobbies are sewing, cooking, and gardening. She also enjoys swimming. She has three children and her home is in Bowman, 5. C. Mrs. Summers also finds time to be active in the work of her church.
