Officers The Girl's Athletic League is an organization in which one works for awards through a series of points. These points, ranging from 25 to 600, are earned through participation in the intramural program. Out of the Fall intramural program comes Hockey and Volleyball. This year the outcome of these two sports was overwhelming. The Honor teams which represented the school in these sports did a magnif- icent job in proving their skills. From the Winter intramural program comes Basketball and Bowling. This year 's intramural Basketball produced both a lunior Varsity and an Honor Team. Both teams did a fine job in using the difficult techniques of Basketball in the games they played with other schools. As for Bowling it is a relatively new intramural sport, but it is becoming more popular each year. As the year progresses, the intramural program brings badminton, baseball and finally concludes with tennis. 63

The success of last year's second team indicates that this is a very likely possibility. Golf A good crop of new- comers promises a good season for Bell- port's1inksters. Mr. McKiernan hopes that this year's squad can improve the good record set by last year's team. Golf ROW 1: A. DePalao, A. Fuoco, D. Satornino. ROW 2: L. Gilban, S. Palermo, M. Lento, J. Marion, D.
