FRESHMEN We were welcomed into high school by the Sophomore class, which gave us an initiation party. The officers, serving the Freshmen Glass thi 2 B year' were President, Ruby Stone Vice-President, James Webster Sec'y-Treas., Louise Thomas Student Council Member, Marie Staley. This year we were fortunate enough to have four new members in our class. They were: Joyce Lee, Mae Scott, Charles Snouffer, and Andrew Larick. Ruth Cooper, one of our ablest classmates, left us in November to reside in Bsllefontaine, Ohio. A Freshmen Latin Club was organized at the beginning of the school term with the following officers: consul- ------------ James Webster Pro Consul ----------- Louise Thomas Scriba ------------- Bernice Weber Praefectus Aeraru - - -e--- Edward Ufferman The name adopted by this club was UPauce sed Potentes.W We enjoyed our meetings very much and on May 6, we united with the Sophomore Latin Club and gave a party. To enable us to learn to speak and use better English, we formed an English Club this year. The officers President, James Webster Vice-President, Charles Snouffer Sec'y-Treas., Ruby Stone. The name chosen by this club was nHustlersW. This group enjoyed a Weiner roast May M at 0'shaughnesy Dam. for this were: We are very grateful to our faculty adviser, Miss Harter, for helping us to make our Freshmen year a happy and successful one.
