C LAS S HHITOKY After 12 years of Public School Education, we are about to embark on the sea of life- In September, 1933, 13 of us stepped aboard a ship to sail over new and untried waters in search of material of refinement and congested, substantial characteristics with which to fill our mental storehouse to its utmost capacity. We were welcomed on our voyage by the Sophomore Class with a party at which we were urged to grasp a firm hold on the higher ideals of mental development, so that the contour of our voyage would not be a zig zag. Following our first year of workmanship, we were given partial command, at which time we initiated a new crew,.the members of which we are guests tonight. All of our crew were young and socially inclined so it didnft take long for us to become acquainted with our fellow passengers. In the beginning of our 3rd year abroad we invited our friends upon the ship to attend a most enjoyable evening at our Hallowe'en Party. Feeling we needed special information we were placed under a new captain - Miss Fisher, who directed our adventure in Wdyclone Sallyn and put our sailors to test in the Junior-Senior Banquet which we gave on a near-by island - The Virginia Hotel- Then came the most wonderful part of the voyage, the Nth year- Mr- Salisbury took over command as captain. We sailors were kept busy with the annual production of 'The Pointer', school activities, and anticipation of honors and rewards given to us by our friends at the Junior-Senior Banquet, being held at the Naval Academy,Hotel Fort Hayes, followed soon by Commencement exercises. Our last test in securing our passport to the entrance of the sea of life comes with our play, nLook Who's Heren and in it you will see the seven of us who have stormed the seas and escaped serious shipwrecks. Ora Webb and Grace Prouty are the only members of the crew, which embarked in 1925 who have withstood all shipwrecks and continued the voyage without any departure. .13-
