Front row: Leona Mae VanGundy, Dorothy Staley,-Jean Cooper, Grace Prouty, Ora Webb, Jessie Andrews. In the fall of 1933 there were thirteen students enrolled in the Freshman class. After the initiation they soon settled down to a new sort of school life called High School. The Officers were as follows: president, Ieldine Mooreg vice-president, Grace Proutyg secretary-treasurer, Jessie Andrews In the fall of 1934, there were thirteen in the Sophomore class. For the Freshmen they planned an initiation party which was a big success. The officers for 1934-1935 were: president, Jessie Andrewsg vice-president, Jean Cooper, secretary, Dorothy Staleyg treasurer Beale Frye, sponsor, Miss Fisher. In the fall of l935 there were nine members in the class. They found themselves in the junior year which afforded lots of fun and work. The class planned the annual Hallowe'en Carnival which was given October 30. They worked hard, under the direction of Miss Fisher, to make it a big success. They were awarded for their work with way. The contests, They a large attendance which helped them out in a financial entertainment for the evening consisted of dancing, and concessions. have their class rings and are very well satisfied with them. Probably the biggest event of the year, as far as they were concerned was the play Udyclone Sally' which was presented December ll, 1935 in the school auditorium. The play contained an abundance of action and a wealth of humor. The cast and director spent much time in preparation for it. There were the posters to be made, the stage scenery to be arranged, furniture to be obtained, in adiition to all of the memorizing, which proves that they found work to do as well as enjoyment in the work. The cast included the following: Jack Webster - owner of the Webster estate .. .. Reggie Manners - a young Englishman . ...... .. Beale Frye Abe Kilbury Jim Jerkins - courted twenty years but not discouraged ............. .. Wray Sabine Willie Clump - Sue Bascom's beau and world's Sally Graham - Cyclone Sally ................... Jenny Thatcher - The object of Jim's persistence Ruth Thatcher - whom Reggie would like to have.. Effie Varden - a cute little neighbor ...........
