August 4. Today I crossed the great Bellpoint Dam built on the large Scioto River and went down Moon St. to the Comedie Francaise, the largest opera house in Bellpoint. It is built on the site of my old Alma Mater, the centralized High School of Bellpoint's smaller days. Here I met Madame Thestra Mathoas, known to me as Esther Thomas. After Esther graduated her rise was very rapid. She first became known as one of Major Bowes famous amateurs and she is now one of the country' most famous opera singers. We returned to my temporary office at Maple Grove, on Main Street. Esther is planning to divorce Jackie Cooper, famous star of the talking pictures. She is suing him for 82,000,000 on the grounds of non-support. As her attorney I shall make preparations for winning what promises to be the most sensational law suit of the century. I am planning to go back to New York for a few days study and then return to Bellpoint for the law suit. ...21-.... 7 S
