In order to carry on the tradition which was started by the class of 1935, a May Queen was chosen by a vote of the High School. This honor is given to the Junior girl who is outstanding in her class and who has done the most to bring credit to B. H. S. Personality, character and scholarship are the qualities upon which the selection is based. Homage is paid to the May Queen in an impressive ceremony at which time she is crowned Queen of the May. This year, Betty Rodgers, May Queen of 1935 bestowed best wishes and honor on the Queen of 1936, Leona Mae Vandundy. I ..Lg,5..
