'-X7 at 1 -' .tw , ' Mr. Camisa The 1987 Senior Class feels that this year's yearbook should be dedicated to Mr. Robert Camisa. Mr. Camisa came to B.F.A. in 1968 as an English teacher and in the past year acquired the position of Administrative Assistant. Mr. Camisa has also been the tennis coach for nine years. Mr. and Mrs. Camisa have eight children, four of whom have graduated from B.F.A. Through the years of watching his children graduate, Mr. Camisa has also watched B.F.A. change and grow. Through his new administrative position, Mr. Camisa has put some changes into B.F.A.'s curriculum with some new policies. These changes show Mr. Camisa's devotion to a better B.F.A. Mr. Camisa's devotion to our school has earned him the dedication of this book. We can look at Mr. Camisa's devotion to B.F.A. by the way that he has striven to better this school. By challenging himself with a new position and instituting some new policies at B.F.A., Mr. Camisa is breathing some new life into the school. all Y i

Special Recognition Y james D. Bashaw, an alumnus of B.F.A., returned to his Alma Mater in 1981 as a member of the faculty. He had graduated three years earlier from UVM where he majored in physical education with a mi- nor in mathematics and business. During these six years, he has become a highly popu- lar teacher who never grows weary of helping us with our problems of equations and logarithms. Mr. Bashaw has broadened his service to B.F.A. through his zeal as coach of girls' basketball, a team he has inspired to high levels of attainment. Mr. Frank 1. Zakrewski has taught United States History to hundreds of students, all of whom will affirm that his methods have exposed them to an appreciation of the excitement and the vitality of our country's past. Mr. Z, as he is known to most of us, graduated from Castleton State College where he majored in history. During his eighteen years at BFA, Mr. Z has been active in several areas, however, he will probably be best remembered as coach of boys' baseball for several years. We, the Class of 1987, recognize Mr. Z for his dedication not only to history but for helping so many of us in his quiet, friendly, and unassuming manner. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to have had a class with Mrs. Lydia Foisy can enthusiastically attest to her warmth and in- spiration which propelled us through courses of computer programming, classes in office simulation, and hours in typing. When we completed these subjects, we knew we were in possession of some useful skills. A graduation of Trinity College in 1970, Mrs. Foisy has been with us since 1974. We shall always recall her willingness to assist students who were encountering difficulties. Her con- tagious enthusiasm encouraged many stu- dents to exert their best effort in those classes we remember as fun. 17
