The Beauty of Life is in Little Things by Peggy Paquin The beauty of life is in little things, That too often our way pass by. While we, in search of bigger things, Let little pleasures die. How foolishly we stumble, Like children we quickly skip through, This flowery, towering, frightening span ,lust to see what we can do. 'Tis true we have great goals to seize And such burdens our backs to bear, That we often find it hard to reach That little thing standing there. If, during our lives, we rest our loads To answer our hearts' weary cries, Weill find that time for those little things Before they wilt and die. Light of Friendship by Don Jarrett Stars that fall through the skies, Are but an image. The people you meet, and the people you love, Are but an image of these stars. They rise with a light and fall with a trail, And they are but an image of this trail. They will leave in their past an image, Only to leave us with the remembrance of their past Not to forget, not as an image, But as the light of life, love, and friendship.
