So now we make, publish and decree Our will to you which you should heed. To the principal, teachers and everyone First we thank you for a job well done. We'll never forget those final exams. Have one on us. . ,so you can cram! To incoming Freshmen - so young, so green, We leave to you our f'Unelc Gene If you get lost - do not fret He hasn't lost a Freshman yet! Class of 1961 . . . To undergraduates going north or west We leave the routes we found the best! Pat Ballard leaves her Betty Crocker Award To a lucky junior who will also score. To all you couples lovey-dovey VVe leave French Hill with the moon above-y! Judy Harvey and other tumbling kids Leave their ability to flip their lids! Mike MeGinn leaves his battles with teachers For juniors to finish, you lucky creatures! Fitsy and Sandy leave Dale and Doug To walk the halls-with the walls to hug! Chuck Kershner leaves the gas jet flowing With Mr. Goodrich's never knowing! Don Phillips peacefully leaves Room 21, This is a change for everyone! Now, to you little ones, the Sophomores next year, We leave our hopes, our joys, our fears, We hope our luck will bring you cheer And.carry you through-without any tears! To the future Junior and Senior gang VVe leave our trophies-and our fame! Keep them in the best of care They are, to us, so very rare! Berta Heald leaves her dreamy Paul But just for the summer, be back in the fall! Laura Howard leaves-a year too late! But her Bobby's still a faithful date! The Senior Assembly Committee leaves, Hearing the sigh that Peter S. heaves. Hallie-Jo leaves her cigarette butts To penny-pinchers in a rut!
