BELLOWS FALLS UNION HIGH SCHOOL ATHENS, GRAFTON, ROCKINGHAM, WESTMINSTER DEDICATION Seniors are always busy. From the first days of September right through the last ones in June, we are constantly making decisions. Questions of Who, What, and Where keep popping up in our minds. Not all of these questions could be answered without the help of a friend whom we all rely on during this hectic year. His words of encouragement and guidance help us to solve many of the problems we all face. His openness, friendliness, and honesty allow us to converse with him freely. In return for all you’ve done for us, we, the Class of 1979, proudly dedicate our yearbook to you, Mr. Leon Perry. 2 We’ve been here for four years, But it hasn’t been too long. We’ve made new friends and found new interests, Our hopes are growing strong. His qualities of friendliness, compassion, understanding, and willingness to help others were an inspiration to us. He set an example for everyone he met and became friends with. The memory of Mr. Cinotti will live in all of us forever. 56 I have never known such a man; He gave us all so much, For he shared with us his love. His greeting was like no other; His smile brightened our day, For he shared with us his happiness. His friendship dwells within us, His memory still in our hearts, For he shared with us his dreams. His heart touched us all. His mind fascinated ours, For he shared with us his wisdom. He is gone now from this earth, And surely we will miss him, For he shared with us his life. Now’s the time to walk on through. The world is out there waiting for me; I’ve got to do what I want to do. Time passes quickly, the years fly by, But everything comes to an end. I have to go and find myself, And be my own best friend. So much has happened in the past four years. I think of everyone I’ve met. I think of all the good times I’ve had, Times I’ll never forget. But June is fast approaching, Soon comes Graduation day. Then it will be the last time for me To say what I have to say. Goodbye doesn’t mean forever, Please realize that I have to go. I’ve got to start fulfilling my dreams, And find out the things I don’t know. But before I leave, I’d like you to see That in writing this poem, I’m still giving; I’m giving you a chance To find the door to your dreams, Just open that door and start living. Mary Beth Blake
