This year was a new beginning for everyone. There were few rules or regulations, and often it seemed like few who knew what was going on! It was a time for changes — who ever expected to be able to go out for a smoke during free time or between periods, play cards and eat anytime the big brown sliding door was open! Whoever expected the teachers would have to brave the elements out on the patio with the rest of us! For once we were all suffering together — the long days, more responsibilities and expectations, the bomb scares, and the day the skylight broke in the gym. We also celebrated together — a brand new school with two state championships! Through it all, however, the usual activities and clubs managed to organize and function, even adding some welcome new ones like the school store. Care For Needy Children Club, Girls’ Athletic Association, and Choral Ensemble. We’ve made the first year of Bellows Falls Union High School a great success. ROW 1 — Kevin Cray. Gil Bennett.
