The red milk truck goes passing by and Madeleine is nowhere to be found. Of course, it wouldn’t be the driver, or would it? When attendance is being taken in Room 11, Madeleine is always out of sight, but, Mr. Osborn doesn't have any trouble finding her when he hears talking. What would Jack Hennessey do without Jackie’s able assistance? His English notebook proves that he was influenced by a certain blonde on Atkinson Street. What would the basketball team have done without their first-string for- ward with the keen eye for long shots? Anyone hunting for Mary could find her at a basketball game or at a Grange dance. The latter especially when a certain soldier is home on leave.
